Birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Ji celebrated in West Delhi

JAMMU, Nov 30: Gurudwara Singh Sabha of New Moti Nagar in West Delhi on Sunday, organized “Nagar Kirtan” to commemorate birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
It was led by ‘Panj Piyaras’ followed by decorated sawari of Shri Guru Granth Sahib.
Thousands of Sikh devotees including school children participated in the Nagar Kirtan. A large number of food stalls were set-up by people from Sikh and Hindu communities to serve langar among all participants at the entire route.
Gurmeet Singh Shunty, member, Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, president, Gurudwara Singh Sabha (New Moti Nagar) and other member of committee also participated in the Nagar Kirtan.
Ajay Kumar, SHO of Moti Nagar police station made the elaborate security arrangement for the safety of thousands of participants. Sufficient police personnel were deployed on the entire route of Nagar Kirtan.
