JAMMU, Jan 12: Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) here today celebrated the 103rd birth anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji with great enthusiasm.
On this occasion Principal of MVM Jammu, Reeta Sharma informed that Maharishi Ji was the first Indian saint who provided us with a simple, natural and effortless technique of Transcendental Meditation to attain higher States of consciousness, reaching up to Unity Consciousness (Brahmiya Chetan).
She further informed that we all are witnessing that tension is prevailing almost everywhere and we are forced to believe that life is struggle and imperfect.
The Principal further informed that Maharishi Ji always said that life is bliss and not a struggle and with this message he filled the humanity with fragrance of hope, enthusiasm and positivity during the decades of 60’s and 70’s of the 20th century.
A conference on ‘Establishing World Peace through Law & Justice’ was also organized on this occasion in which Kavinder Gupta, Ex. Dy. CM was the chief guest and V.K Attri (Retired Judge High Court J&K) presided over the function while V.P Sharma, President Brahmin Sabha Parade was the guest of honour.
Dr. Santosh Gupta and Arun Sharma from BVP were the special guests.
Prominent among those who attended the function were Kulbhushan Attri, V.P Gupta, M.L Vaid, M.L Padha, V.K Phoa, Shiv Ram Sharma, Banita Ram Sharma and Trishla Gupta.
