SRINAGAR, Sept 22: In connection with the celebrations of 521st birth anniversary of Bhagwan Shri Chanderji (Son of Guru Nanak Devji), Shri Chander Chinar Bada Akhara Udasin Trust, Residency Road, here organized an impressive programme, today.
On this auspicious occasion, the religious rituals like Shri Ganesh Pujan, Kalash Pujan, Shri Chander Pujan, Rudra Abhishek, Bhagwati Pujan, holy Chinar Pujan, Maha Mritunjay Jaap etc were performed with great enthusiasm and Udasin traditions.
The other highlights of the function were Havan Yagya (Pooran Ahuti), special Satsang, Katha, Kirtan on the life and teachings of Bhagwan Shri Chanderji by the Raagis from Punjab who enthralled the devotees.
Hundreds of devotees from across the country, who are associated with the Udasin tradition participated in this annual event and sought the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Chanderji. The management of the trust had made elaborate arrangements for the boarding and lodging of devotees who had come from Jammu and other parts of the State. The trust also arranged a grand Bhandara (community lunch) for all the participants.
