JAMMU, Aug 18: The birth anniversary of Swami Kashi Bub was celebrated with full religious fervour and gaiety today.
In this connection a grand function was organized by Swami Kashi Bub Maharaj Trust at Swami Nand Bub Ashram , Lale De-Bagh near here.
A Maha Yagya was organized on the occasion and the two day Hawan concluded with Puranahuti this afternoon which was followed by serving of prashad to devotees.
A large number of devotees thronged the Ashram to participate in the religious function. The prominent who were present in the function included Swami Kumar Ji, Swami Chaman Lal Bamzi, Ashok Koul, organizing secretary BJP, R K Raina, president ASKPC, Dr Susheel Wattal and other social activists.
Swami Kumar Ji gave religious discourses and threw light on the spiritual life of Swami Kashi Bub Ji Maharaj. On the occasion, Trust felicitated Archana Dhar D/o Ashok Dhar who secured 6th position in the class 12th examination.
Chairman of the Trust, B L Dhar in his speech said that allotment of land to Trust ahs been finalized and only approval is granted by the Board of Directors of JDA. Secretary of the Trust, B N Dhar and its patron C L Dhar presented vote of thanks.
Maha Yagaya was also performed by the devotees of Swami Ji at Dhane, Pune in Maharashtra.
