JAMMU, Apr 11: Shri Guru Ravi Dass S S Trust is going to celebrate 126th birthday of Dr BR Ambedkar on April 14 at Sukhsagar Bhawan, Sikanderpur, near Bishnah under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdip Giri Ji Maharaj.
While addressing media persons, CL Banal, Chairman of Trust said that thousands of people belonging to SC, ST and OBC will participate in this function to pay tributes to Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar. He also said that socio-religious organizations of SC, ST and OBC communities are co-operating with the trust.
He also disclosed that all arrangements have been made regarding celebration of Bheem Jayanti. He appealed to people to reach Sukhsagar Bhawan at 10 am as the programme will start at 10:30 am with Bheem Vandana.
DD Shivgotra, General Secretary of Trust said that Bheem Jyanti will be celebrated as Dr BR Ambedkar Vichar Mahotsav. “We have to follow the path shown by Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar. Dr Ambedkar scarified his life for the upliftment of down trodden people. Baba Saheb is the father of Indian Constitution, which is one of the best constitution of the world”, Shivgotra added.
