JAMMU, May 2: Bishnah police nabbed two burglars along with stolen cash from Kotli Mian Fateh area.
As per police sources, a shopkeeper from Mehmoodpur namely Sudesh Kumar lodged a complaint regarding theft in his shop with Bishnah Police Station few days back.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR number 56/15 under Section 457 and 380 RPC was registered at police station Bishnah and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police rounded up several persons for questioning out of which two persons confessed to commit the crime.
The accused have been identified as Balbir Kumar of Miran Sahib and Jagdish Raj of Bishnah. On their disclosure, stolen cash worth Rs 4,900 and some other items were also recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Police Station Inspector Surinder Pal Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
