JAMMU, Aug 6: Karyal Brahmana village in tehsil Bishnah is without electricity for the last one month.
The village Panchayat members told Excelsior that transformer installed at the village went out of order about one month back. The matter was taken up with concerned PDD field staff. After they failed to respond even after one week, the matter was taken up with the concerned Executive Engineer Div-II Jammu and later with the Dy Commissioner Jammu, but despite this the transformers could not be restored or replaced even after one month.
They condemned the criminal neglect on the part of PDD staff and local Administration and urged upon the Dy Chief Minister to intervene into the matter and take action against the PDD staff for its criminal neglect.
