JAMMU, Sept 17: As the process of elections to District Units of National Conference (NC) began here today, Naresh Bittu was unanimously elected as district president of Jammu Rural-B.
A handout of NC stated that Jatinder Kumar, Delegate, proposed the name of Bittu, Ex-Sarpanch Raj Kumar seconded it and no other name for the slot was proposed.
Hence, the Party Observer, Bimla Luthra, senior vice president of NC Women Wing declared Bittu as unanimously elected.
Deepender Kour, Ex-MLC was second Observer and she also congratulated Bittu on being elected as district president.
Janak Raj, Om Parkash, S. Gurdeep, Himat Singh, Nazar Hussain, Jatinder Kumar, Bodh Raj and others were also present on the occasion.
