SAMBA, May 6: The activists and senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party today protested against the Toll Plaza which is situated on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Sarore in Bari-Brahmana area of district Samba.
The protest was led by BJP State senior vice president Chander Prakash Ganga alongwith former district president Keshav Dutt Sharma and BJP Vijaypur block president Tarsem Lal. They gathered at the spot and condemned the installation of the Toll Plaza. During this they also broken some booths which were constructed by the Toll Plaza authority.
Disclosing to media Chander Prakash Ganga said that this is the extra burden on the innocent people of the area as well on the tourists who come in the state for Vaishno Devi Ji Yatra, Amarnath Ji Yatra, etc. He said that some days back when Toll Plaza was under construction BJP also protested for not constructing this Toll Plaza. He said party cannot sit silent till Toll Plaza is shifted to another place.
