JAMMU, July 27: BJP senior leader and former Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) accompanied by Ankush Gupta, department in charge, BJP Maha Sampark Abhiyaan during public darbar at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, listened to the grievances of the people drawn from different areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
The BJP leaders listened the problems and took up them with the senior officials of the concerned departments for early disposal by Sat Sharma, who talked through phone to these officials and in some cases, representations of the deputations were forwarded to the departments.
Among one of the main deputations, Ghagwal residents complained that a 10 MVA transformer reached Ghagwal Receiving Station six months ago but still it has not been installed and people are made to suffer. This matter was brought into the notice of Managing Director, JKPDCL by BJP leaders.
The issue related to lifting of garbage from Mandir complex of Kabir Mohalla, Rajpura, was also raised, which was taken up with the Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), for early action.
Some individuals raised the issue of non payment of the financial assistance of Rs 5.5 lakh to refugee families as the will deeds of their fore fathers are not accepted by the Department.
A deputation of Ward No. 73 took up the matter related to damages caused to two small bridges, which are causing inconvenience to the general public.
A group of ration dealers from some areas of Jammu city informed the BJP leaders that majority of the consumers who get monthly ration from their outlets, want flour instead of rice. This issue was also taken up with the CAPD officials.
Similarly many other issues related to the PHE, JMC, PDD, were raised by the people and the same were taken up with the concerned officials.
Sat Sharma, on this occasion, said that the party deputes senior leaders on daily basis to meet the people and listen to their problems. He said that these leaders are available at BJP office as well as many other leaders are going door to door to educate the people about the development works and welfare schemes of the Modi Government, besides getting on the spot assessment of the day today problems being faced by them.
