JAMMU, Nov 4: BJP has released the second list of four candidates for the first phase of Assembly elections in the State.
With this BJP has so far released the list of 49 candidates for the Assembly elections starting from November 25.
The list of four candidates has been released by Party general secretary, J P Nadda at Union Capital today. The Party has fielded Sheikh Rashid from prestigious Ganderbal Assembly Segment and Abdul Rehman Tekri from Bandipora Assembly Constituency in Kashmir Valley.
It has fielded Abdul Aziz and Slanzin Lakpa from Assembly segments of Kargil and Zanaskar in Ladakh region respectively.
The Party High Command had not cleared the candidates of these four constituencies which are going to elections during the first phase of polling on November 25 while releasing the first list of 45 candidates on November 2. The last date for filling up of nomination papers for these constituencies is November 5.
