“They have given their sacrifice without thinking of their families. The BJP must stop taking such harsh steps against the defense forces especially Army. They guard our borders and defend our motherland,” he said.
Manjit Singh said that there is anger among the people in Jammu division and across India especially after the Government of Jammu and Kashmir booked Indian army for self defense.
“The morale of Indian Forces should not be compromised. The BJP is indulging in appeasement policy of stone pelters and separatists who are allegedly involved in anti-national activities. These people are getting benefits from the State Government in which rightwing BJP is also a partner and they have gone into hiding for the sake of power,” alleged Manjit Singh.
Referring to the cross border shelling along the International Border, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to deal with the situation on borders in Jammu division.
“It has become a routine for the border residents to suffer injuries, loss of life and property. Instead of providing them permanent areas to settle during hostility on the borders, BJP Government paying no heed to the suffering of the border people and only issuing statements without ground work,” he added.
