BJP asks migrants to ensure en-mass participation in DDC polls

JAMMU, Nov 20: BJP displaced district leaders in a meeting today appealed the Kashmiri migrants to fill up the forms for casting their valuable votes in the District Development Council (DDC) elections.
The meeting was chaired by BJP spokesperson and former MLC, Girdhari Lal Raina and among others it was addressed by displaced district vice presidents, Bharat Bushan Bhat Gosani and Shiban Ji, councilor Rakesh Kaul, Sarpanch, Vijay Raina and Mandal president ,Prem Nath Bhat Mandal and ex Sarpanch, Nana Ji Raina and Sarpanch, Ladhoo Babita Bhat who is also candidate for BDC elections in Pampore Block of South Kashmir in Pulwama district.
The meeting said that Kashmiri Pandits by filling up their forms should ensure en-mass participation in the DDC elections to make their presence felt. They said these elections are crucial and nationalist forces have to join hands at this juncture to defeat the designs of the anti national elements and those forces who are looking towards China or refusing to take Tri Colour in their hands.
They said the need of the hour is to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi who has declared a war against the anti nationals and detractors of country.
