JAMMU, Dec 27: Bharatiya Janata Party, (BJP) held a meeting of its newly announced Constituency Prabharis along with other senior party functionaries at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, near here, today.
Meeting was chaired by BJP State president, Ravinder Raina, which was also addressed by State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul and State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, called upon all the senior party functionaries that they have been entrusted with a great responsibility in the party at the crucial juncture when the party has to go through Parliamentary as well as Assembly elections. He said that being a Prabhari of a region means to nurture the ground and prepare it well for reaping a bumper harvest in the form of heavy voting in our favour.
He asked them to focus on continuous Pravas of their allotted constituencies to cement the organizational structure of the party at the very ground level. He prompted the Prabharis to chalk out detailed strategy for going to the public while taking all the achievements of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Centre Government and hold meetings of beneficiaries which will ensure party’s victory in upcoming elections.
Ashok Kaul, in his address, gave detailed account of all the forthcoming party programmes. He asked the Prabharis and Seh-Prabharis to ensure that all the party programmes are promptly held at the booth level. He also instructed them to conduct regular meetings of Shakti Kendras and further ensure constitution of Navrattan at booth level and hold their sammelans.
He asked them to hold “Mann Ki Baat” at booth level. Koul urged the senior leaders to conduct programmes remembering great ideologue Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay and brave soldiers of the nation. Besides he stressed on creating a workforce of the prominent locals, particularly the youth brigade and acquaint them with the party ideology.
Dr. Narender Singh, asked the Prabharis to cement the organizational set up of the party at the ground level. He asked them to complete details of the beneficiaries of public welfare schemes and ensure their ground implementation.
Harinder Gupta, Pawan Khajuria, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Priya Sethi, Veenu Khanna, Praduman Singh, Munish Sharma, Suraj Singh and others were amongst the prominent BJP leaders present in the meeting.
