JAMMU, Apr 12: BJP believes in the Mantra of Sab Ka Sath, Sab Ka Vikas, said Ashok Koul, while addressing a Jan Sampark programme here, today.
The programme was organized by Sagar Verma, district president OBC Morcha, Udhampur under the BJP OBC Morcha’s drive of Gaon Gaon Chalo, Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyaan.
Ashok Koul, BJP general secretary (Org.), Pawan Khajuria, State vice president, BJP, Pawan Gupta, former Minister, Balwant Singh Mankotia, former MLA, Lal Chand, DDC Chairman, Udhampur, Sunil Prajapati, State president, BJP OBC Morcha, Arun Gupta, district president, Udhampur, Puran Chand, DDC, Jattu Ram, DDC, Arti Sharma, BDC Ghordi, Ashu Sharma, DDC Tikri, Dr. Yogeshwar Gupta, Chairman MCD, Som Raj Khajuria, State Executive Member, Suresh Salgotra, State vice president, OBC Morcha, Mohammad Sadeeq, State vice president, OBC Morcha, Anil Balgotra, State secretary, OBC Morcha, Ashok Bandral, vice president, OBC Morcha, Charan Dass, general secretary, OBC Morcha were present in the programme.
Sagar Verma conducted the programme proceedings and put forth the demands of OBC Samaj in front of the dignitaries.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the gathering, said that BJP follows the path of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and started Beti Bachao aur Betiyon Padhao Scheme which resulted in the improvement of ratio between male and female. He said OBC Samaj always supported BJP and BJP is the only which works for upliftment of every section of the society.
He said since 2014 Modi Government started so many schemes for the welfare of OBCs like post scholarship, national fellowship, reservation in Public Sector units, reservation in Sainik Schools, Central Schools, Navodaya Vidyalaya, OBC Vishkarma Yojna, special provision in New Education Policy, creamy layers increased from six lakhs to eight Lakhs, free vaccine, covered under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, Venture Capital Schemes for OBCs.
Pawan Khajuria said that only BJP has embraced the communities, which were ignored by successive Congress, NC, PDP governments. He said that the Modi Government has taken all the initiatives which have given bright chances to the OBCs to excel in every field.
Pawan Gupta said that after abrogation of Article 370 and 35A , OBCs and West Pakistan Refugees granted all Constitutional rights.
Balwant Mankotia said that the Modi Government is dedicated to the welfare of OBCs and will take more steps to ensure this.
Sunil Prajapati provided information on various landmark decisions of the Modi Government.
