JAMMU : Bharatiya Janata Party State president Jugal Kishore Sharma today filed the nominations for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Seat here.
Mr Sharma supported by party activists and senior leaders this morning filed his nomination papers before Returning Officer Ajeet Kumar Sahu.
Hundreds of BJP supporters accompanied Mr Sharma to the RO office.
On March 20, PDP candidate Yashpal Sharma and Congress candidate MP Madan Lal Sharma had filed the nomination papers for the Jammu-Poonch Constituency.
Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Ashok Kumar Bhagat and Independent candidate representing refugees, Labha Ram Gandhi had also filed the nominations.
An official said today was the last date of filing nomination papers while scrutiny of nominations will be conducted on March 24 while the candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till March 26.
Voting is scheduled to be held on April 10. (UNI)
