AKHNOOR, Sept 22: BJP candidate, Mohan Lal contesting from Akhnoor constituency today toured village’s Ashram Colony, Sunail, Bharda Kalan and Gandarwan among others.
He was accompanied by party leaders including DDC Sharda Bhau, Mandal President, Sham Singh, ex Chairman MC, Sanjay Saraf, Sobha Ram Sharma, Bharat Bhushan Gupta, Ram Swaroop and Dalbir Singh.
Speaking on the occasion Mohan Lal addressed multiple gatherings and reiterated BJP’s commitment to public welfare, development and national security.
Lambasting NC-Congress alliance, Lal called their manifesto against national interest.
He pledged to expedite compensation for farmers whose land has been acquired by defense forces and assured to review the smart meter system to ensure that it remains public-friendly.
The BJP leader assured farmers that they would have access to adequate irrigation water to improve agricultural productivity and appealed voters to vote in favour of BJP candidate for development, public welfare and national integrity. The meetings were attended by several prominent local leaders, including ex-Sarpanch, Parshant Sharma, Tilak, Ashok Sharma, Rakesh Sharma and Deepak Sharma.
