JAMMU, May 24: To assess their winning performance in Lok Sabha elections and to felicitate newly Lok Sabha MPs from Jammu region, a meeting of Cells Convenors and Co-Convenors was held at BJP headquarters. The meeting was held under the leadership of State Incharge of BJP Cells Sat Sharma (CA). State BJP President and Member of Parliament Lok Sabha from Jammu-Poonch Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma and Member of Parliament Udhampur-Doda Constituency, Dr. Jatindra Singh graced the occasion.
They were accompanied by State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, State vice president Col. (retd) Uttam Singh. Both the MPs and State general secretary (Org.) were felicitated by the BJP Cells on the occasion.
Addressing the meeting Jugal Kishore Sharma appreciated the working of Cells in the Parliament elections and lauded their efforts for contributing a lot for the victory of Party candidates on the three Parliament seats won by BJP in the State.
Mr Sharma also declared that BJP in coming days will increase the pace of their works and reach out to every nook and corner of the State in order to fulfill the desires of public which it is expecting from BJP and the candidates which it has chosen to sit in Parliament.
Dr Jatindra Singh in his address said that BJP Cells played a very crucial role in the Parliament elections held in the State. He also said that through their channels, Cells managed to cope up with extra ten percent of votes in the constituencies which helped the candidates a lot to cope up with the votes which were not cast in favour of Party in previous elections. He also said that in the coming days BJP will organize mass gatherings and programmes in the Constituencies so that the party could attain better results in Assembly elections too.
Ashok Koul said that the Cells played a great role in the elections. He said that just like Mission 272 plus, BJP will now work on Mission 44 plus in the State for Assembly elections which are due later this year. On the basis of its performance in Lok Sabha poll BJP is in a position of winning majority of seats in the Assembly elections too, he added and asked the Cell convenors and co-convenors to gear up and start working on Mission 44 plus.
Sat Sharma (CA) in his address urged the participants to start working on the roadmap of getting 44 plus seats for BJP in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.
He in consultation with State president, Jugal Kishore Sharma and State general secretary Ashok Koul also nominated Brig (retd)  Anil Gupta as the State Convenor of Ex-Servicemen Cell.
Onkar Seth, Pt Vishvinder Dev Sharma, Kr Rajeev Charak, Rajinder Singh, Kuldeep Sharma, Subash Gupta, CA Deepak Kapahi, Vinay Kattal, HS Pummy, S Amrik Singh, Govind Sareen, Jaidev Rajwal, Vikram Randhawa, Rajnish Jain, Pt. Vipan Shastri, Shashi Vaid, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Capt. Ramesh Lal, Rajesh Bittu, Bharat Bhushan, Lal Hussain, Naresh Pradhan, Om Parkash Gupta, Raj Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch Vijay Sharma, Rakesh Mishra, Subash Bhagat, Sanjeev Gupta, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Bishamber Jasrotia, Sanjeev Gupta, Indu Bhushan Sharma, Vivek, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Surinder Gupta were among the Cell convenors present in the meeting.
