KATHUA, May 7: Member Parliament Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas reiterated that BJP is committed to address the genuine demands of the people by providing better development works.
On the demand of local populace, Shamsher Singh Manhas today laid the foundation stone of lane and drain at Saraswati Vihar near Kalibari, here.
He asked the people of the locality to keep the area neat and clean voluntarily to encourage others to fulfill the Swach Bharat dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Manhas said that Central and State Governments have started many development works and on completion of these projects, general public will get benefit of it. He said many development works are under pipeline and would be started soon.
Manhas asked the people of state to get benefit of centrally sponsored schemes. BJP has also initiated many programmes at organization level to make people aware about the schemes so that every individual can get benefit from these schemes. Central govt has set another target to provide free LPG gas connection under Pardhan Mantri Ujjawala Youjana and economically weaker section has been provided free LPG connections so that they can live a dignified life, he added.
Manhas assured the people that Government is keen to listen the grievances of people and their early readdressal. He cautioned the people to remain aware about the false propaganda initiated by the opposition parties as they are hell bent to destabilize the Coalition Government in State.
On the occasion XEn PWD, AEE, PWD and prominent people of the area were also present.
