KARGIL, Apr 2: BJP general secretary, (Org) J&K Ashok Koul on his visit to Drass met with the residents of different villages. Ashok Koul addressed a huge gathering in Drass Subdivision attended by the party workers and supporters. He asserted that the BJP Government committed to welfare of people in the region and development of entire Ladakh region.
The grant of UT status for Ladakh was a long pending demand for years. The BJP Government headed by Narendra Modi has made the dream true by granting UT status to Ladakh.BJP Government headed by Narendra Modi has fulfilled the long pending demands of sixty years, he added.
He stressed that the workers of party should work hard to strengthen the party in Drass and Kargil.
He said that the BJP will work for development and welfare of the Drass region from all levels in future. Ashok Koul also visited village Goshan and met with the people. Addressing the local residents and the workers he said that BJP is trying its best to develop Ladakh and make it one of the prosperous regions of the country . The Hill Council for Ladakh region was a long pending demand of the people of Ladakh, which was granted by BJP.
Koul said that BJP leaders are visiting every nook and corner of Ladakh and meeting people to fulfil their demands.
