JAMMU, July 7: BJP senior leader and MLC Surinder Ambardar today said his party is committed to welfare of all nationalist forces in the country with a special focus on State of J&K.
In a statement issued here, he said BJP will not let down the nationalist people and party is keenly concerned on the issues of all refugees of 1947, 1971 PoJK. Besides, the issue of displaced Kashmiri Pandits is a priority to the party which was reflected by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi also.
While reacting to recent meeting of some individuals with Hurriyat leaders in Kashmir, Ambardar said neither the party nor the Government endorses such efforts. “This all should not be read through a serious lens, but yes the party is keeping an eye on the developments. It is an immature exercise with those who have credibility crisis at their own end”, he added.
Ambardar said BJP is firm in its resolution of return and retention of KPs with dignity honour.
He said that in future mechanism will be created for hassle free poll process for displaced people as the issue was also deliberated in recent State Executive meeting. The importance of the issue can be gauged from this that the issue figured in the PM’s meeting held at Srinagar. He said BJP has increased its visibility and party’s foot prints are in ascending order in Kashmir valley as well.
