JAMMU, Nov 21: Election for 115 out of 134 Mandal presidents of BJP has been completed successfully. This was stated by party’s State incharge for organizational elections, Varinderjeet Singh who was also accompanied by co-incharge, Munish Sharma at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here today while addressing a meeting of the party.
Varinderjeet Singh said that setting up a perfect example for total internal democracy in the party, BJP has so far completed elections for 5027 out of 5531 booths in the first phase of organizational election and 115 Mandal out of 134 in the second phase of organizational elections. He said that entire process has been completed in best democratic manner.
Singh further said that party has also constituted an Appeal Committee of the party leaders who have any doubt in the process and any party leader can file these objections regarding the election till November 30.
Singh said that in the three month long process till date, the organizational elections have gone smoothly by taking all the functionaries in confidence.
He also said that the nomination for the presidents of remaining Mandals will be done later after thorough discussion within the party.
Singh informed that the election process of district presidents of the party will be held in the first week of December giving a complete makeover to the organizational structure. He further added that these organizational elections are a way to keep the organization healthy and it encourages the new leadership to take over the reigns of party. This way sufficient chance is given to emerging leadership from every region and every segment of the society, he added.
