BJP creates more organisational districts

Jammu, Aug 23: Keeping in view the forthcoming Parliamentary elections and to expand organizational network BJP has decided to create more organizational districts and mandals to further strengthen the party at grass root level  in the State.
In this connection Jammu Mahanagar District which has 71 wards falling under the jurisdiction of  Jammu Municipal Corporation, the BJP has decided to create one more district out of existing Jammu Mahanagar under its organisational set up.
According to the Party decision, Jammu East, Gandhi Nagar and Satwari Mandals will be part of Jammu East District. While new district has been named  as “Jammu West district” and comprising of West, Janipur and Muthi-Paloura Mandals.
It has also been decided to divide  Akhnoor district into two districts. Akhnoor district will comprise Khour, Chowki Choura and Akhnoor Mandal. While new district carved out from Akhnoor district has been named as “Jammu Rural district” which includes Marh, Raipur-Domana, Dansal and Mathwar mandals.
It has been decided that Rajesh Gupta will be District President of Jammu East District. Former Corporator Subash Jandial will be the District President of Jammu West district.
Sukhdev Singh Jamwal will be the District President of Jammu Rural District and Daljeet Singh will be the District President of Akhnoor district.
State General Secretary & former Mayor Kavinder Gupta has been nominated as District Prabhari for Jammu West district.
State General Secretary & former MLA Bali Bhagat has been nominated as District Prabhari for Jammu Rural district.
State Legislator Party leader Ashok Khajuria has been nominated as Prabhari for Jammu East district and Daljit Singh Chib has been nominated as Prabhari for Akhnoor district.
Meanwhile, State President Jugal Kishore Sharma  has nominated Yudhvir Sethi as Prabhari for  State BJYM, MLA Shyam Choudhary as prabhari for Kissan Morcha, Purnima Sharma as Prabhari for Mahila Morcha, Narsingh Dass Rajwal as prabhari for SC Morcha  and Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana as Prabhari for Muslim Morcha.
