JAMMU, Dec 29: BJP UT president Ravinder Raina said that the main reason for people joining his party in large numbers is that it is dedicated to the cause of nation and its people.
Raina was addressing a party function at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar here, today in which Sarpanches and Panches from Nowshera with their large number of supporters joined the party.
On the occasion Masood Ahmad Sarpanch, Dabber Kotha-B, Chaman Lal Sharma, Sarpanch Mangeot, Pawan Kumar Naib-Sarpanch, Zakir Hussain, Panch, Mohammad Latif, Panch, Ved Prakash, Panch, Maneer Hussain, Panch, Kalmdin, Panch along with their supporters from Nowshera joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, today.
Besides Ravinder Raina, party vice-president and former Minister, Sham Lal Sharma, former MLA, Devender Singh Rana, district Prabhari, Sanjay Kumar Baru, BDC chairperson, Seri, Neena Sharma, Mandal president, Seri, Ravinder Sharma and other BJP leaders formally welcomed the new entrants into party fold.
Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and other party leaders were also present on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and said prominent ground level leaders from remote areas with their supporters have today joined BJP. This gives pleasures to welcomed persons from every community and every region in to the BJP, he added.
He said these leaders along with their supporters surely will strengthen the party at the gross-root level.
Raina said that people of Seri maintain the social harmony and unity among all the communities living in the area.
Sham Lal Sharma threw light on various development works done for the people. He said that earlier governments only exploited people and communities like Gujjar-Bakkerwals while BJP truly worked for every community. He said that BJP as a party works for every community and focuses on the development work to given result to masses.
Devender Singh Rana said that the politics is for servicing the people. It is for the welfare of the people. He said that PM Modi has changed the political discourse of the party making aim for solving the issues faced by the people. He said that people are well aware of the works and the intentions of the persons working for them and so any certificate given by them means everything for a person in political life.
Masood Ahmad said that he is feeling lucky to have joined the nationalist party. He said that the strong and dedicated working pattern of BJP leadership around the region has mesmerized all the people. He said that the BJP serves the society irrespective of region or religion consideration.
Chaman Lal Sharma remembered the time of Praja Parishad and Jana Sangh and the role of people from Seri who sacrificed a lot for the nation and society. He assured the senior party leadership that they will work dedicatedly for the party and the society.
