JAMMU, Oct 25: With its pro-development and nationalist approach, all the policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are directed to the welfare of the people, especially the needy who were oppressed and neglected by the earlier Governments”, said Sat Sharma, former Minister and ex BJP State president.
Sat Sharma said that while the shortcomings of the previous Governments have dented the development and the image of the nation, the Modi Government in these nine and half years has rectified the majority of those. He said that Jammu & Kashmir is among the regions which have received maximum benefits from the Modi Government during all these years.
“In Jammu & Kashmir, the Modi Government has rectified the historic blunder of Article 370, which was the main hindrance in the development. That Article was the enemy of communities like refugees/ Gujjar/ Bakkerwal, Pahari/ SC/ Gorkha/ women etc which had pushed the future of the youth into darkness, and was detrimental to the modern development of the region.
He said removal of controversial Article 370 has led to the empowerment of people, removal of unjust laws, bringing justice to discriminated communities, comprehensive unprecedented development and new dawn of peace & progress.
Sat Sharma while listening to the grievances of the public, who had visited the BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here informed them about the sea change which took place in J&K after abrogation of Article 370. Maha Jana Sampark Abhiyaan Department in charge, Ankush Gupta also accompanied him during the camp.
Various other deputations and individuals from Talab Tillo, Puran Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Warehouse, Gole, Panj Peer, Barnai, RS Pura and other places shared their grievances with the BJP leaders, which were related to ration supply, upgradation of lane and drain, revenue, choked pipes and nallahs, land compensation near Ware House etc. All the grievances were taken up with the senior officials of the concerned departments for early disposal.
Ankush Gupta, stressed that the majority of the issues reflected by the masses were resolved. He said that BJP leaders have the commitment to listen to every individual whose voice was unheard before.
