JAMMU, Dec 30: To discuss important administrative and developmental issues, a delegation of BJP leaders from Nowshera called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, here today.
The delegation led by DDC member Sangita Sharma discussed various public important issues of Nowshera constituency and problems faces by general public after formation of new Government and the problems being faced by the Common man.
They requested the LG for earlier start of classes of Degree Colleges at Lamberi, completion of Rajal gravity irrigation canals, inclusion of Punjabi subject in Higher Secondary School Nowshera and Higher Secondary School Qila Darhal, creation of separate Educational Zone for Seri, JK Bank Branch at Bajabain, sanction of PMGSY Road Ghai Upnas and other border areas of Nowshera Assembly constituency, up gradation of High School Langer, Kheri Dharat and Dabber Potha, up gradation of infrastructure at Seri Higher Secondary School, separate BDC Block for Narian Chingus adjoining Panchayats.
Beside this, the delegation discussed and stressed upon the smooth functioning of PWD (R&B) Department and also requested for fair tendering process, where recent violations have been observed and wrongs being done under political pressure.
LG Sinha assured the delegation for proper implementation of rule of Law and also said that none can violate the rules established and if anyone found guilty, shall face the Law under Criminal proceedings.
Among others who were the part of the delegation included BJP Distt President Neena Sharma, Rakesh Raina, Preeti Gupta, Jagmohan Kour, Om Parkash and Jagjit Singh.
