BJP discusses refugees issue

SAMBA, Sept 22: The BJP held a meeting here, today to discuss the problems of West Pak and PoK refugees and urged the party men to fight for their cause.
The meeting was organized by publicity secretary of the party Aseem Gupta and who is also in charge of Samba district along with another senior leader Rajiv Jasrotia. Party senior vice president Chander Parkash Ganga presided over it.
The meeting, while discussing the problems of the refugees threadbare also gave final shape to Party’s Refugees Adhikar Yatra which is starting from October 2 from village Keerian Gandyal in Kathua district and will culminate on October 6 at Jammu.
Assem Gupta, while addressing the meeting said the yatra will cover five to seven villages daily and it will forcefully highlight the problems of West Pak and PoK refugees who have been neglected by successive government’s right from 1947 till date.
The meeting among others was attended by Samba district president of the Party Kashmir Singh, Som Dutt Sharma, Mr Mangal, Sunash Bhatgat, Mr Dharampal and Amit Dubey.
