BJP displaced district’s plea to LG

JAMMU, Dec 21: BJP displaced district held a meeting here, today under the chairmanship of its president T N Bhat in which an appeal was made to Lt Governor, G C Murmu to settle the long pending issues of the displaced Pandits.
As per a release, the meeting demanded releasing of honorarium of displaced Anaganwari workers which is pending for a long time, advertisement of remaining 3000 posts under PM package and selection criteria for the same should be on the pattern of Punjab where one member per family is being given employment, supply of neat and clean water to Jagti township inmates where over 5000 displaced souls are putting up and provisions for issuance of domicile certificates be also considered.
The meeting was attended by Virender Sathu, Vinod Pandita, Vishal Jyotshi, Chand, Bharat Bushan, Rakesh Sathu and others.
