BJP emerging as force to reckon with in J&K: Kavinder

JAMMU, June 10: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Saturday asserted that the saffron party has emerged as a force to reckon with in J&K only because of dedication and resilience of the committed workers of the outfit.
The BJP leader was addressing a meeting of senior activists of the party, who played a significant role during important campaigns of the organization under the Mahasampark Abhiyan held in Ward No. 20.
The event was held under the leadership of Kavinder Gupta here at the residence of a local namely Vijay Verma. Others who were present include Seh Prabhari North Vinay Gupta, District Vice President Narinder Koki, Councillor Ward No 20 Rahul Kumar, Mandal President Bharat Bhushan, Mandal General Secretary Rachit Khosla, District Publicity Secretary Sandeep Gupta, Ward President Satbir Singh and Ajay Verma.
Kavinder highlighted the phenomenal steps and achievements realized by the BJP Government-led by PM Narendra Modi in the last 9 years and urged the party cadre to take along this message in the society to ensure that every single resident of the UT gets undistorted knowledge about the good work done by the Government in these nine years eliminating the scope of opposition parties misleading the public through propaganda or other deceptive methods.
Kavinder said that the coming time is crucial as elections are on cards and therefore every single day counts much and should be utilized thoroughly.
Later, the former Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated development work in Govt Middle School, Narwal Pain in Ward No.1 with an estimated cost of Rs 10 lakh.
The senior BJP leader informed that under this project falling under Cantonment Board, the work of tiles and new rooms would be accomplished giving better facilities to the student fraternity and teachers to impart quality education in ergonomic conditions.
Kavinder said that the entire BJP leadership in the UT is working hard to provide appropriate conditions to students to excel in their studies and that is the reason the schools in the vicinity are being developed on war footing.
Vinay Gupta, Narinder Koki, Vice Chairman Bharat Bhushan, Rahul Kumar Corporator, Rachit Khosla Gen Secy Monu, Jatinder Salathia, Mohit Raina, Gurdyal Singh, Sanjay Bhau, Ashwini Kumar, Sangeeta, and Meetu Sharma were also present on the occasion.
