Kamalpreet along with supporters joins party

JAMMU, Dec 20: Kamalpreet Singh, former DPAP vice-president, Jammu Central Zone along with more than 200 supporters mostly from the Sikh community joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at its Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
Sat Sharma, president, J&K BJP, Dr Narinder Singh, national secretary, BJP and MLA RS Pura-Jammu South, Charanjeet Singh Khalsa, former MLC and senior leader, BJP, Priya Sethi, former Minister and BJP Headquarter in charge,district president, Rekha Mahajan, ex councillor, Gurmeet Kour Randhawa, and others welcomed the new entrants.
Sat Sharma, while welcoming Kamalpreet Singh along with his supporters, said that Singh made the right decision. He said that BJP is the only party in the world, that has ensured respect to every person and every community, adding that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi recognized the sacrifices of community and the Sahibzadas and announced the Veer Bal Diwas. He also shared the story of Veer Bal Diwas and the ultimate sacrifices of Chaar Sahibzadas. He recalled the horrific days of 1984, which was the dark gift of Congress to the innocent people. He said that the Congress only cared for itself and gifted Bharat Ratna to the special persons denying this recognition to personalities like Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar. He said that the BJP activists works with the ‘nation first’ policy and asked the new entrants to follow the party principles and ethics like “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”.
Dr Narinder Singh showered praises on Prime Minister, Modi for his special efforts to give due respect to Sikhism. He shared instances when the PM celebrated Gurupurab on a global level, brought back the Swaroop of Shree Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan, recognition of the sacrifices of Sahibzade, and other things for the promotion of Virsa. He termed the BJP as a party with differences. He also shared the programme details on December 26 as Veer Bal Diwas. He said that in BJP, workers from the bottom level can reach the highest position.
Charanjeet Singh Khalsa also stated that the BJP has done exceptional things for the community. He also attacked the Congress for always acting against the Sikhs and promoting the genocide of the community.
Kamalpreet Singh, new entrant stated that the BJP is the only political party in the nation that serves the people with unmatched dedication. He assured the party seniors that he would do his best to provide services to society and the nation.
Priya Sethi, who conducted the programme proceedings said that BJP is the right place for every person, who wants to serve the society and nation with clear intentions.
Amrik Singh, Balvinder Singh, Ramnik Singh, Tarlochan Singh, Inderjeet, Baljeet, Gurdeep Singh, Gurmeet Singh, KS Manhas, Ranjit Singh Jasrotia, Vijay Sharma, Joginder Singh, Harvinder Singh, Kulvir Singh, Gandharv Singh Bhau, Gurdeep Singh and others were among the prominent people to join on the occasion.
