Cong holds election meetings in Sunderbani, Nowshera

JAMMU, Mar 26: Former Minister and Congress candidate from Jammu- Poonch Parliamentary constituency Raman Bhalla today alleged that BJP escaped after ruining the J&K State.
While addressing series of public meetings in Sunderbani and Nowshera in Rajouri district today Bhalla said that BJP can not escape from its responsibility. The people of the State will ask this question to the BJP leadership when they will face the masses during election campaign. He said the BJP has caused much damage to the State and brought uncertainty. The situation in Kashmir Valley and also along the borders in the State, is only due to the wrong policies and failure of the BJP leadership.

Bhalla who was accompanied by ex-MP Madan Lal Sharma, PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, ex- MLA Radhey Sham and others, advised BJP to stop selling dreams to people of Jammu, whose massive 25-member 2014 mandate they sold for remaining in the cradle of power as non-entities. He asked the BJP to read writing on the wall and stop nurturing inflated ambitions. The BJP, he said, has lost its face as also credibility in Jammu, which had provided the party a huge space in the mistaken belief of deliverance.
Cong leader said the BJP leaders can take solace of having fulfilled their personal aspirations and ambitions but the people of the region at large remained at the receiving end for over three years of their misrule. He reminded the BJP of its shrinking space in Jammu due to anger among the people for their betrayal and failure in keeping up the commitments.
He said the people are not happy in Sunderwani , Nowshera and Rajouri  and are hugely suffering  in the field of water, power supply, health care, education and rural development.
Ex-MP Madan Lal trained guns at BJP and alleged that people are fed up of the false promises of BJP leadership. He said the hollow slogans of PM Modi and other leaders of the party has created trust deficit among the masses and the people have made up mind to teach a lesson to this party.
Ravinder Sharma projected the local issues of the people of Nowshera and Sunderbani area and said that BJP-PDP regime totally failed to mitigate their sufferings. He said the people are facing acute shortage of water and power supply while health care facilities were also in shambles in this border belt. He appealed the people to support Congress candidate for better development.
