BJP evading Assembly polls for fear of defeat: Pawar

JAMMU, Apr 6: Seeking support for Congress candidate from Jammu, Raman Bhalla, former MLA and vice president JKPCC, Indu Pawar on Saturday emphasized the Congress Party’s commitment to addressing the grievances of all sections of society.
Addressing a series of public meetings in Jammu north constituency at Ban Talab and Purkhoo areas in Jammu in support of Raman Bhalla, Pawar said that policies and programmes of the Congress party are formulated by incorporating wishes and aspirations of all sections of society to ensure equitable development.
She exhorted the people to give a befitting reply to the BJP in the coming Lok Sabha elections for pursuing anti-people policies. She highlighted the deliberate neglect and exploitation faced by the marginalized and neglected due to pro-rich and pro-industrialists policies being propagated by the BJP during the last 10 years.
Pawar urged voters from all communities to support Congress candidates in upcoming elections. She underscored the Congress’s belief in unity, regardless of religious or regional identities, contrasting it with what he deemed the BJP’s anti-poor stance.
Asserting that the BJP is evading Assembly elections in fear of defeat, Pawar called on party members to prepare diligently for upcoming polls at all levels. She criticized the BJP for depriving Jammu and Kashmir of its democratic rights and failing to address economic issues, unemployment, and price hikes.
She highlighted Congress’s role in Jammu and Kashmir’s development and called on voters to reconsider their support for the BJP in the upcoming elections.
While seeking support for party candidates, Pawar thanked Congress high command and other senior leaders for selecting dynamic candidates- Raman Bhalla and Ch Lal Singh for both the Lok Sabha seats of Jammu and Udhampur.
