BJP expresses serious concern over terror attacks in Kashmir

JAMMU, Aug 11: Concerned over terror attacks in Kashmir, a meeting of Jammu Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party Core Group was held today in Party Headquarters, Shyama Prasad Mookherjee Bhawan, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu under Chairmanship of Party President Ravinder Raina.
The meeting was attended by all members of the Core Group, including Dr Nirmal Singh, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Sat Sharma (CA), Kavinder Gupta, Ashok Kaul, Shakti Parihar, Sunil Sharma, Adv Vibodh Gupta, Dr D K Manyal and Advocate Sunil Sethi.
In the meeting detailed discussions and analysis was done on the security situation in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, particularly in view of recent terrorist attacks on party workers in Kashmir Valley.
Raina briefed the BJP leaders about his recent Kashmir visit and steps taken by the party to ensure the security of BJP workers and elected BDC Chairmen and Sarpanches in J&K. He also briefed the BJP Core Group about his recent communication with BJP national President J P Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the prevailing security situation in Jammu & Kashmir.
It was resolved to fight nefarious designs of Pakistan and its puppets to spread violence in Jammu Kashmir, with all force. Core Group decided to take up issues with the administration to provide adequate security to party workers who are working on the field amongst the public.
Core Group assured the party workers that proper security would be provided to them by the Administration.
