SRINAGAR, July 10: Former IGP and BJP member Farooq Khan today said the party will field its candidates on all the Assembly segments in the forthcoming elections.
Khan said that BJP wants development and progress of the State along with the other States.
He appealed to the people of the Kashmir to join the hands of the party to get rid of the “old faces”.
“We invite the people of the Kashmir to strengthen our hands in the forthcoming elections if they want to get rid of the old faces like PDP, Congress and National Conference. These parties have done nothing except exploitation of the masses,” Khan said.
He said that the state being abundant in natural resources should have been a foreign exchange State, “but it is a beggar State.”
He said that very soon BJP will start door to door campaigning in the State to inform people about the “misunderstanding” about the party which has been created by Congress and other parties.
On abrogation of Article 370, Khan said the party will hold discussions will all the stakeholders in the state about it.
