JAMMU, Mar 25: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today fielded Arif Majid Pampori, the State Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) as the party candidate from Srinagar-Budgam Lok Sabha seat against National Conference leader and Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Dr Farooq Abdullah.
Apart from Farooq, PDP has fielded former Finance Minister Tariq Hamid Qarra from Srinagar seat.
The BJP high command today cleared the name of Pampori, a businessman for Srinagar seat, which would go to polls on April 30.
