KATHUA, Mar 18: Former Minister and president DCC Kathua, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today alleged that BJP gave mis-governance and created mistrust among the people in the State and the country.
Addressing series of public meetings at Bhaiya, Bhagochak, Gura Beldara, Lower Mela, Bhatyari, Sallan, Bhannu Chak, Dhalli, Sharma appealed the people to positively participate in upcoming electoral process and ensure victory of Congress candidates both in Parliamentary and Assembly election in the State.
Sharma criticized BJP for mis-governance and said that common masses were feeling deceived. The people have understood the fake and hollow promises of BJP Government and said that BJP will be routed out in upcoming elections.
DCC president attacked Central Govt for failing to come up to the expectations of the people in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that Centre has miserably failed people of Jammu and Kashmir on all counts. The dual standards and political exploitation on the part of BJP stand exposed, the meeting asserted.
Dr Sharma urged the party cadre and workers to make good use of the present political situation in J&K, urging upon the Party functionaries to strengthen the party further at booth, halqa and block levels in the state in inorder to face the challenges and called upon young Congress workers to ensure big victories for the Congress candidates in the forthcoming elections and said the success of any party depends on its cadre and youth power and laid stress on strengthening the party.
The DCC leader asked the cadre to take Congress ideologies and principles to the people and expose the lies and wrong policies of BJP among the people.
