JAMMU, Nov 24: Gearing up for Parliamentary and State Assembly elections, BJP State president, Ravinder Raina, chaired a meeting of convenors and members of State teams of all cells of BJP at its party Headquarter, here.
State president was also accompanied by BJP State general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi and State Incharge BJP’s All Cells S. Varinderjit Singh.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, laid stress on present scenario in the State which has emerged after the discontinuation of alliance Government and afterwards dissolution of State Assembly by Governor. Stressing upon the importance of Cells in coming months, he said that the leaders of Cells have an important role in coming Lok Sabha elections as well as Assembly elections.
Raina prompted cells to gear up their work facilitating ideological link of party with targeted population and claimed that the process will maximize party’s vote share.
Raina asked them to take all the schemes initiated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to their respective fields and strive to generate warm contact with the prominent persons of society. He asked the leaders that they also have responsibility to counter anti-national propagandas propagated by other parties. He added that they must act as the strong bastion of party.
Yudhvir Sethi, while speaking in the meeting, asked Cell leaders to follow all the party programmes strictly which will help in strengthening of their Cells’ structures. He prompted them to conduct regular meetings of their respective Cells to aware all the members of the Cells of their responsibilities towards the party and more importantly their communities.
Varinderjit Singh, while speaking in the meeting, asked Cells’ convenors to work extensively in the field. He said that the dedicated work by the Cell leaders will make benefit the party in approaching Parliamentary elections by making the organization stronger.
Later, all the State convenors of Cells presented overview of working and programmes undertaken by their respective Cells in recent months after brief session of introduction by members of their State teams.
State convenor, BJP’s Human Rights Cell Hunar Gupta conducted stage proceedings.
State Cell convenors along with teams present in the meeting were Refugee Cell Vikas Sharma, Cooperative Cell H. S. Pammy, Weaver Cell, B. K. Kaul, Transport Cell, Darshan Singh, Ex-Servicemen Cell, Brig. Uttam Singh Chib, Teacher & Employee Cell, Arun Gupta, Sanskriti Cell, Barat Bhushan Sharma, Senior Citizen Cell, Dr. Nirmal Kamal, Local Body Cell, Deepak Gupta and Legal Cell, Ranjit Singh Jamwal.
