JAMMU, Oct 9: BJP Government is committed to the welfare of the farmers and has ensured every possible measure to enhance their socio-economic status. This was stated by J&K BJP general secretary and former Minister, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal while addressing series of meetings at Samba.
Dr. Manyal was also accompanied by former Minister, Chandar Prakash Ganga, former MoS OBC Board, Rashpal Verma, BJP Kissan Morcha president, Omi Khajuriya and other senior party leaders.
Dr. Manyal along with others also worshiped a tractor at the famous Shrine of Baba Chamlyal to denounce the degrading act done by Congress and said that in Indian culture people worship everything in nature that is related to their lives.
Dr. Manyal said that in Indian culture farmers since times immemorial have worshipped their fields, yield, animals and equipment used in cultivation and farming but it is really painful to see the present day scenario where Congress has tried to gain political mileage by misguiding certain farmers to the limit that they are forced to burn their tractors. He said that BJP will fight the evil designs of Congress by bringing out the truth about the farmer friendly bills.
Chander Prakash Ganga enumerated various landmark decisions and measures taken by Modi Government for the welfare of the farmers like PM Kissan Samman Nidhi. He said that Congress has only duped innocent citizens of this great nation but never did anything solid to strengthen and empower them. He said that now the Modi Government has taken initiative to give the farmers and every other citizen the real decision making authority in shaping their strong future.
Rashpal Verma said that masses know that BJP is committed to the people’s welfare and soon the mist of misinformation by Congress will be cleared.
Omi Khajuria said that BJP Kissan Morcha will approach every farmer in the region to put the facts and details about the farmers’ bills before them.
District president, Samba Amar Singh, Raman Singh Chib, Suresh Falli, Vijay Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Anil Bhagat, Chaman Lal, Gurmeet Singh, Surinder Chahal, Romesh Kumar Sharma, Yash Paul, Kuldeep Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Sat Paul and others also accompanied the party senior leaders.
