JAMMU, Apr 2: Uday Chib, president Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (J&K PYC) asserted that the BJP led Government at the Centre has failed in providing basic amenities like water, power and ration to the common people of the state.
He was speaking while starting slab work of community hall at Panchayat Ghar, Paloura with an estimated cost of Rs 55 lakhs in presence of concerned Corporator, Rajni Bala here today.
Taking a dig at the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for his hollow slogans, Uday Chib said that the ruling dispensation has completely failed in curbing inflation. He said the most important and best thing about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech is to end red tapism. Escalating his attack, Uday said the Prime Minister came to power by talking about black money and corruption, but there has been no discussion or progress in that regard.
JKPYC chief said that the country is presently going through a state of crisis. “The graph of the inflation is on a constant rise, the fuel prices have touched the sky. The victims of such issues are the common men, the countrymen who are the true sons of the soil,” he added.
Corportor, Rajni Bala in her address said that in many parts of the country, petrol has crossed Rs 100 per litre mark while diesel is nearly Rs 88 per litre. She said that the prices are increasing day by day, the shameful thing is that despite doing such open loot, the BJP government is busy blaming the Congress. She added that when the BJP was in opposition, it demonstrated on the streets against the increase of Rs 5 per litre in the price of petrol and diesel, but today when there is all-round inflation, everyone is silent.
Corporator Rajni Bala asked party workers to strengthen the base of Congress Party. She assured that Congress has always stood with the people of Jammu and Kashmir through their thick and thin and shall continue to pursue its endeavours towards addressing the issues and problems of the people.
