RAJOURI, Dec 29: BJP MP (Rajya Sabha), Gulam Ali Khatana said that his party Government is committed to ensure transparency and accountability in the governance and developmental works. He said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government has ensured that the each single penny reaches the last man in the row and should not be pocketed by the middlemen and corrupt.
Addressing a large gathering here, today Khatana said that previous PMs themselves admitted that 90 per cent of the funds were pilfered by the middlemen while only 10 per cent reached on ground. But with path breaking initiative of direct transfer introduced by PM Modi, the funds reach in the bank account of the beneficiary. He also underscored the significance of various welfare schemes including health card, DBTL, . Emphasizing that awareness is pivotal for the successful implementation of Government initiatives. He highlighted how informed citizenry plays a crucial role in the overall success of these programmes.
Moreover, he specifically highlighted the instrumental role of the “Viksit Bharat Yatra” in this context. This journey, aims at fostering development across the nation, serves as a platform to enhance awareness and promote engagement with Government schemes.
He highlighted the role of the mobile van in achieving saturation of all schemes and enhancing awareness among the populace. This proactive approach signifies the dedication of the administration to ensuring comprehensive awareness, leaving no eligible individual uninformed about transformative Government schemes.
Khatana passionately underscored a plethora of self-employment generation schemes, serving as beacons of opportunity for the burgeoning youth. With an unwavering commitment to societal welfare, he fervently emphasized the myriad initiatives spearheaded by the Central Government, designed to uplift the common masses.
