JAMMU, Aug 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress president, Uday Bhanu Chib has castigated the BJP led Central Government for having miserably failed on all fronts.
He was speaking during a function where he distributed free ration among the needy residents of Ward No. 59 of Raipur- Domana constituency here today.
Addressing the people present on the occasion, Uday Chib said that the people are facing severe problems only because of Bharatiya Janata Party’s anti- people policies besides absence of any result oriented policy in its hoax agenda. He said that the BJP- led Union Govt has failed on all fronts, especially in handling the Jammu and Kashmir situation that has been shattered after its division into two Union Territories. He recalled that at the time of creation of J&K Union Territory, the then Governor had promised to provide 50,000 jobs to J&K youth but nothing has been done in this regard till date. He asserted that BJP came into fray with a bundle of hoax promises never to be fulfilled.
The JKPYC president said that people are yet to come out of the devastating affects of Covid -19 second wave with the third wave anticipated very soon by the experts, it becomes the bounden duty of the Congress leaders, workers and activists to lend a helping hand to the people especially the poor and needy section of the society.
Uday assured the people of Jammu that Congress has always stood with them through their thick and thin and shall continue to pursue its endeavours towards addressing the issues and problems of the people during the ongoing pandemic.
