JAMMU, Aug 29: National Awami United Party (NAUP) general secretary women wing, Shikha Bandral Thakur flayed BJP Government for rise in prices of essential commodities and other things.
In a press conference here today Shikha stated that BJP leadership of J&K is not raising the price rise issue seriously while the Congress on other hand is not playing its opposition role properly and is using inflation card to cover National Herald case so that its top leaders like Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are saved.
“Congress is also busy with internal problems of the Party,” she maintained adding that other opposition parties of national level are under the scanner for corruption.
The NAUP leader also said that political parties of J&K are only playing the card of 370 and are not raising issues of inflation, unemployment etc.
“Leaders like Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and others are projecting themselves as prominent leaders but lack interest in solving local issues of J&K,” she further said.
She urged LG Manoj Sinha to book the culprits of J&K police recruitment scam along with those involved in wrong doings in other recruitment agencies.
