SAMBA, Jan 15: Describing BJP as the harbinger of change in Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader of the Party Devender Singh Rana today said that the Union Territory is treading on the path of equitable development, peace and prosperity of all, irrespective of caste, creed, region and religion in true spirit of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cherished agenda of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”.
“A new growth story is being penned down under the visionary leadership of the PM and J&K is confidently treading the path of progress and development”, Rana said while addressing a day-long meeting of office bearers and prominent party workers of Samba constituency. He said that this is the time to demonstrate how strongly the people feel about a strong India under the unimpeachable leadership of PM.
Rana said J&K is poised for the peoples’ Government and the beginning of an era of opportunities for all. He said PM has a vision for progressive and prosperous J&K and, therefore, it is incumbent upon all to come forward and strengthen his hands. He hoped that the people would shoulder their responsibility of strengthening the BJP for fulfillment of their urges and aspirations.
He dwelt in detail on the measures taken over the years for establishing peace, restoring normalcy and putting J&K on the path of holistic development, saying abrogation of Article 370 has removed all the impediments in achieving this cherished objective. He gave a clarion call to all the functionaries and workers to intensify their outreach up to the last person for making the BJP a strong and vibrant force to take J&K to the heights of progress and development.
Earlier, Rana was given a rousing reception on reaching Samba. He was taken in an impressive rally by youth workers of the BJP led by Reyaz Malik. Rana started his day after paying obeisance at ancient Narsingh Dev Ji Temple at Ghagwal.
