Tara Chand, Jugal campaign for Vikramaditya

REASI, Apr 16: Senior Congress leader and former DyCM, Tara Chand has alleged that BJP damaged the interests of Jammu people and betrayed them on every front.
Addressing election rally at Reasi, organized jointly by Congress and National Conference in favour of Congress candidate from Doda-Udhampur Parliamentary constituency Vikramaditya Singh today, Tara Chand lashed out at BJP for its total failure to fulfill its commitments made during last elections and its surrender for the sake of sharing power. He blamed BJP for damaging the interests of Jammu youth and compromising on its commitments to remain in power.
Tara Chand came down heavily on BJP for exploiting the sentiments of Jammu people for vote bank politics and blamed it for seeking votes on false commitments with people of Jammu region but it totally exposed after sharing power in the state and ruling Centre for 5 years. He said that not a single commitment was fulfilled by the BJP at the Centre and State. He appealed people to vote in favour of Congress.
Jugal Kishore in his address said that BJP is responsible for creating social and political uncertainty in J&K and it can go to any extent to remain in power. He said that BJP Government failed to come up to the expectation of people. They ignored the issues of development, especially Jammu region, besides failed to get equitable share for Jammu people, especially for the unemployed youth. He urged the people to caste their valuable vote in favour of Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwan Singh said that BJP leadership during last 5 years unemployment has been all time high in the state and the country. He said that many project started by the previous Congress Government has come to standstill and are waiting to meet their finish dates due to callous and non-serious attitude of BJP Government. He appealed to the people to reject BJP and strengthen for peace and prosperity in the country.
Senior NC leader and former Minister Jagjeevan Lal said that the foundation of the country has been laid on secular ideals and harmony amongst different sections keeping in view of the pluralistic character of the nation and those spreading hatred are weakening the nation. He urged people to defeat the designs of such forces who can disturb and destroy the secular fabric of our nation.
