BJP has fulfilled its commitment towards Jammu: Sethi

JAMMU, Aug 5: The official communication between the Central Government and the State Government to identify 200 acres of land for setting up of AIIMS in Jammu has now cleared all the confusions being created by some vested elements during the last few days.
This was state by BJP State chief spokesperson Sunil Sethi, while addressing media persons along with State General Secretary Munish Sharma and State spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan. He said that the communication has now proved that the BJP led Government at the Centre was very much clear on establishment of AIIMS in Jammu and the State Unit of BJP too had assured the people of Jammu of its commitment to get AIIMS for Jammu but unfortunately few political parties exploited the situation.
He said that even earlier, Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda had, last week, announced for setting up of AIIMS in Jammu and now another letter by Health Ministry to identify land for the purpose has made it crystal clear that Jammu has got what had been promised by BJP. “The object could be achieved because of concerted efforts of all leaders of BJP, especially State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, Health Minister Ch. Lal Singh, Forest Minister Bali Bhagat and other seniors, who worked hard to achieve AIIMS for Jammu” he said. Sethi said that BJP has fulfilled its promise of ensuring equality for Jammu region with Kashmir region and assured the people that the Govt. of BJP alliance in the State, will never compromise on the interests of Jammu.
