BJP holds anti-Pak protest

JAMMU, Oct 19: Panchayati Raj Cell of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held anti-Pakistan protest at Gangyal.
The activist of the cell led by its president Baldev Singh Billawaria assembled at Gangyal and raised slogans against Pakistan Government. They also burnt the Pakistani flag to expresses their resentment over continuous firing along LoC and International Border.
Addressing the gathering, Billawaria said that Pakistani rangers are continuously shelling in Indian villages along LoC and International Border directly targeting the civil population working in the fields. Continuous firing has resulted into injuries to women, children and other local peoples.
He asked the Government to make arrangements for cutting the crops of the people and also steps for their security.
Government should give free hand to Army and paramilitary forces to deal with Pakistan rangers, so that Samba and Hiranagar type episode should not be repeated again.
Among others present were Choudhary Harbans Lal, Suresh Jamwal, OP Magotra, Om Nath, Ranjeet Singh, Surjeet Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Surinder Singh, Jyoti Parkash Sharma, Satpal Choudhary, Kaka Ram, LN Bhat, Amaranth and Ashok Koul.
