BJP holds meet, discusses developmental schemes

BILLAWAR, July 9: A meeting of District Working Committee, Basohli was held under the chairmanship of Pandit Jeewan Lal, MLA.
During the meeting, Lal said that Coalition Government is committed for equitable development of all three regions of the State. A check has been imposed on corruption after Government formation in the State and several welfare schemes like NFSA, Mufti Mohd Sayeed Entitlement for food scheme-Ladli Beti, State Marriage Assistance scheme, Ujwal Scheme for BPL families were started by NDA Government and Coalition Government.
He complimented State Government for consideration of creation of two Tourist Development Authorities s for Billawar-Basohli and Bani constituencies.
He complimented Modi led Government for sanctioning AIIMS, IIT, IIM and IHM and National highways in the Jammu region and complimented Central Government for providing Urban and Rural Housing Scheme for poor families, Deen Dayal Jyoti Yojna, a scheme for electrification of uncovered villages.
He expressed the hope that the sanction of 10th phase PMGSY roads for the rural areas will not only enhance the road connectivity in far flung areas but also boost tourism.
The meeting was attended by Ved Mankotia, Dinesh Basotra, Vikram Ditya Singh and Mukesh Khajuria.
