BJP holds strong protests against Congress at several places

JAMMU, Dec 21: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir led by its senior leaders held protest demonstration against Congress and burned its effigy at several places in J&K for mimicry of vice president of India Jagdeep Dhankar.

Former BJP State president, Sat Sharma accompanied by BJP vice-president, Yudhvir Sethi, secretary, Veenu Khanna, media in charge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, spokespersons, Purnima Sharma and YV Sharma, BJYM president, Arun Prabhat, OBC Morcha, president, Sunil Prajapati, former councillors, Sanjay Baru, Suneet Raina, Neelam Nargotra, Chaman Lal Bhagat, Dinesh Gupta, Anil Masoom, Rajesh Gupta, Kuldeep Kandhari, Manav Gupta, Keshav Chopra, Parveen Kerni, Raman Sharma, Atul Bakshi, Karan Singh, Brijesh Gupta, Rajinder Tickoo, Adarsh Jathiar, Subhash Gupta and others participated in the protest.
Sat Sharma, while addressing on the occasion, said that the Congress has dishonoured a person belonging to farmer family, who is serving the nation as Vice-President and Chairperson of Rajya Sabha. He termed this as an insult to the Indian Constitution and the whole nation by the Congress, which has now cemented its humiliating fate in 2024.
Yudhvir Sethi said that the leader of INDI Alliance have disgraced the OBCs, farmers and they have to repent for their sins they have made.
Parmod Kapahi said that the Congress has disgraced the top Constitutional post and has brought insult to the whole nation.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra termed Congress as habitual offender who has repeatedly mocked Indian culture, values and topmost institutions. Whole Congress including Rahul Gandhi must seek apology from the nation, he said.
Meanwhile, BJP district Jammu South under the leadership of district president, Rekha Mahajan protested and burnt the effigies of Congress at Gangyal and RS Pura. Senior leaders Sham Choudhary, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Satpal Pappi, Akash Chopra, Mandal presidents Ranjit Singh and Bikram Sandhu, Karuna Chetri, Shalu Gupta, Rohin Chandan and other party activists participated in the protest.
Sham Choudhary said that with this disgraceful action, Congress has acknowledged that why their suspension was necessary for the betterment of the nation.
Rekha Mahajan said that the chair of vice-president does not belong to a party but to the whole nation.
Reports reaching here said protests were also held at other district headquarters by BJP activists who demanded unconditional apology from Congress leadership.
