SAMBA, July 11: BJP today organised Working Committee meetings in various districts including Samba, Jammu West, Rajouri, Displaced District Kashmir etc.
Addressing Working Committee meeting at Samba the Party Prabhari and vice president, Aseem Gupta said the sacking of Hizbul Mujahideen head’s sons for anti-national activities is another positive effect of the annulling of Article 370.
J&K BJP general secretary, Devinder Manyal, Seh-Prabhari Samba, Th. Narayan Singh, district president, Amar Singh, DDC Chairman, Keshav Sharma, Sanjeev Sharma, Santosh Bhagat and other senior leaders were present in the district executive meeting.
Aseem said that a large number of welfare measures were initiated by the Central Government during the pandemic and an amount of Rs. one lakh crore has been allocated for providing free ration to about 80 crore eligible citizens of the country.
BJP unit of district Jammu West held its Working Committee meeting at Shakti Nagar, here which was held under the leadership of district president, Munish Khajuria.
Senior leaders of party including Lok Sabha MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma, former State president BJP, Sat Sharma (CA), UT BJP general secretary, Vibodh Gupta, Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, former MLC, Ramesh Arora, Prabhari and Seh Prabhari, Rekha Mahajan and Shailja Gupta, State secretary, Arvind Gupta, treasurer Prabhat Singh and Tilak Gupta addressed the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore Sharma highlighted the role of Karyakarta in strengthening the organization at grass root level. He also talked about various developmental works done by the Modi Government for the welfare of J&K people.
Sat Sharma (CA) said that every activist must be ready set himself in election mode.
Vibodh Gupta stressed on strengthening that the party at grass root level.
Another Working Committee meeting was held at Rajouri which was chaired by party secretary and Prabhari, Vikram Randhawa. It was attended by senior leader and former Vice Chairman, Prabhari Board Kuldeep Raj Gupta and district president, Rajinder Gupta.
In his address Randhawa highlighted the achievements of Modi Government and stressed party men to work for strengthening party base in remote areas of the district also.
The Working Committee meeting of the Displaced District was chaired by its president Chand Ji Bhat while former MLC Ajay Bhati was the chief guest. H K Razdan general secretary resented welcome address while Chand Ji Bhat highlighted the commendable role of party men during second wave of COVID.
