ANANTNAG July 1: BJP JK leaders Dr. Narinder Singh and Sofi Yousuf its vice presidents and Girdari Lal, spokesman held a video conferencing interaction with the beneficiaries of Central sponsored schemes from South Kashmir who have benefited from different Central Government sponsored schemes.
The beneficiaries were connected from Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama districts of South Kashmir. These beneficiaries while interacting with BJP leaders expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his people friendly schemes which had empowered and uplifted the weaker sections of the society who were deprived of their rights from many decades by Congress Government.
Sofi Yousuf, while addressing the achievements of Modi Government, said PM Narendra Modi stood by the people of his country in this pandemic and had launched schemes like Aatmnirbhar Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Youjna. Under Aatmnirbhar Bharat, he has announced Rs 20 lakh crore economic package and under PM Garib Kalyan Youjna Rs 80,000 crore people of the country were given free ration and now this has extended till November, he added.
He further said Rs.31000 crore were directly deposited in the accounts of poor families. Moreover, Rs.18000 crore were deposited in the accounts of framers.
While lauding PM Narendra Modi he said the powerful Prime Minister is able take bold decisions as he has recently banned 59 Chinese web applications and gave them befitting reply. “We are not in support of war but it is sure that the country is in the safe hands”, he added.
He also said post August 5, 2019 the politics of separatism, self rule, autonomy stands rejected in Kashmir and now even separatists have closed their shops because they are now aware of the fact that they are irrelevant and unacceptable in Kashmir.
